5. What if there is already an NRI District coordinator appointed for my district?
Sometimes the districts are too big to be handled by just one district coordinator. For such districts we can appoint more than one district coordinator. So depending on the size and population of the district, though there might be an NRI DC already appointed, we might still be able to appoint one more NRI DC.

6. What is an Information Desk?
Setting up information desk is one of the best ways to spread our message. It is a place where people approach us with lots of questions, including:
- What is the organization about?
- What are the organization’s goals?
- How do we intend to achieve it?
- How can they contribute towards the mission?
- How do they donate for the cause?
The information desks will also have fliers and pamphlets that contain the necessary contact details. These fliers / pamphlets can be distributed to interested members, so that they can later become our volunteers.

7. How do I set up Information desks at community events?
As a first step, gather information regarding various community events in your area, contact the event organizers and explain to them regarding 5th Pillar and its activities, the need to create awareness among the Indians living abroad and thereby the need to set up Information desks at the event / gathering. Please follow any instructions that the event organizer provides regarding deadlines for requesting information desks, fee payments etc.
Also, please inform us the details of the event, date, time and venue and we will email you a brochure that contains all the necessary details in order to set up the Information desk, including checklist etc. We will also send a few volunteers who live around the area to help you during the event.
